Ingredients

Chickpeas boiled 1 cup
Lemon juice 2 tsp
Tamarind paste ½ cup
Tomato 1
Onion 1
Coriander leaves ¼ bunch
Mint leaves ¼ bunch
Green chilies 3 – 4
Oil 2 – 3 tbsp
Salt to taste
Crushed red pepper ½ tsp
Dry mango powder ½ tsp
Chaat masala ½ tsp

Method• Grind together ¼ bunch of coriander leaves, ¼ bunch of mint leave and 3 – 4 green chilies.
• In a pan heat 2 – 3 tbsp oil, add in 1 chopped onion, sauté for a few minutes.
• Add 1 chopped tomato, prepared green paste, salt to taste, ½ tsp crushed red pepper, ½ tsp dry mango powder and ½ tsp chaat masala. Fry very well.
• Then add ½ cup tamarind pulp and cook for a few minutes.
• Lastly add 1 cup boiled chickpeas and fry for a few minutes. Then remove from fire and dish it out.
• Sprinkle with 2 tsp lemon juice and serve hot.
